Our First Wedding For The Season

It's Here, it's here! Wedding season is among us and we are thrilled to have some lovely brides come our way. This wedding here was nice and quaint but extremely elegant and exceptional.
The tables were long with the Julep Cup arrangements placed evenly down the center.

The Groomsmen Boutonnieres were made with Freesia, varigated Lily Grass and bound with silver wire.

The bridesmaids bouquets were a combination of white Hydrangea, Lisianthus and Freesia.

The bridal bouquet was done with stunning purple Vanda Orchids and a little bling just for fun.

And finally to match the bride's bouquet the groom's Boutonniere was made of luscious purple Vanda Orchids and nestled in a boutonniere holder which the groom will be able to keep as a keepsake.

Air Plants

We just recently brought in some Air Plants and let me say that they are absolutely fascinating. The are native to South America and usually grow up in the canopies where they derive their moisture and nutrients from the air and rain and sometimes from debris accumulating around it. They're a natural grey-ish color.  They do not need super bright light but will thrive in moderate light. Although they are "air" plants they still need water. Simply mist them right into the top of the plant every couple of days and they will be extremely happy. Be careful not to over water them (it will cause them to rot)  They take a day to dry out so it is hard to over water them. If forgotten, they will begin to go dormant & if left too long, they will dry out.

"♥ Your Garden! (hate the maintenance?)"

The sun is shiny, the birds are singing, the snow is melting - and all that garbage from the winter is littering the garden. Nuts. Not to worry . . . We are starting to book for Spring garden clean-ups - if you are interested in having us come by, call the shop and we can pop over the next... week or two. We'll cut down what needs to be cut down. Rake, tidy, mulch, whatever you might need. Very affordable rates, no power tools, just good, ol' fashion hard work.

A Whole New Store

We kind of were behind on ordering in new product for quite some time since things have been so wonderfully busy. However, recently we have literally restocked the whole store and brought in dozens of new product lines. It is very exciting and the store is unbelievably bright and summery if I do say so myself. But... you must come and see for yourself because there is to much to see.
